Highlands Swim Team

Welcome to the Highlands Hurricanes On-Line Registration platform for the 2026 summer swim season! Registration is open to all pool members between 5 and 18 years of age as of May 31, 2026 and can swim the length of the pool unassisted. Registration priority will be given to neighborhood residents and former swim team members. All swim team members must also be members of the Highlands pool.

New this year: Tiny Tornados is our new introductory program for our youngest swimmers (ages 4-6) who are unable to swim the full length of the pool. See the Tiny Tornados tab for more information. 

Practices will be held at the Highlands Pool. We will have 2 home meets and 4 away meets - please see the schedule for details.

ALL parents are required to volunteer for jobs at meets during the swim season. This is non-negotiable, as our swim team meets are run 100% by volunteers. Each parent is expected to help by doing 5-6 jobs over the season. Unless otherwise specified in the job sign-up, most jobs are scheduled for one half of a meet (first or second half). A few jobs (ex: Announcer, Meet Referee, and Volunteer Coordinator) are for the entire meet and not broken into first and second half. Sign-ups for jobs will be made available online prior to the first meet. An email will be sent to all registered families once volunteer sign-ups are open. A list of volunteer jobs will be available. Swim meets are fun and run smoothly when we have enough volunteers!
